Vice-Chairperson and First Secretary Sun Chunlan

Sun Chunlan was elected ACFTU Vice-Chairperson at the Third Session of the 14th ACFTU Executive Committee and First Secretary of the ACFTU Secretariat at the Eighth Session of the 14th ACFTU Presidium In December 2005.         A native of Hebei Province, Sun Chunlan was born in May 1950. She received a postgraduate education and began to work in 1969. Sun Chunlan has many years of experience in trade union work. Before she got elected, Sun Chunlan had been Vice-Chairperson and Chairperson of the Liaoning Provincial Trade Union Federation in northeast China. Sun Chunlan is the first woman in the history of the ACFTU who has assumed the post of first secretary of the ACFTU Secretariat.
